Designer Aphra Hallam has created the Zera Cooling Crescent, a wearable neck device aimed to relieve hot flushes for women during menopause. The Cooling Crescent is made from reusable silicone and aluminium, and is controlled via an app called Zera. Hallam explained she was ‘on a mission to include a range of darker skin tones’ to address the racial disparities in reproductive ageing.
