Fashion brand GANNI and material innovation company Polybion have created a jacket grown by bacteria, as a sustainable alternative to cowhide. The prototype was manufactured by feeding bacteria mango fruit waste from the agriculture industry and then tanned, giving the jacket a textured mottled yellow finish.
