WOMENS: BALENCIAGA BLACK

Establishing her position as a new Balenciaga muse, Alexa Demie sported one of the brand’s most recent designs to the Academy Museum Gala in LA. The look, from Balenciaga’s A/W 22/23 couture collection, was a black, crystal-netted and embroidered gown, complete with a gloved bodysuit and the label’s pointy Space pumps. A modern take on Old Hollywood silhouettes, “the look perfectly embodied a presence from the past and future”.
