Baovan, the first bao restaurant in Valencia, has been designed by Clap Studio to reflect the city’s beachside culture and the adventurousness of travel. The colourful dining interior embodies the surf-and-explore lifestyle of Baovan’s founders, using colour to divide the space into three areas: a ‘forest’ – a ceilinged porch with hanging ropes symbolizing dense vegetation – a beach, and its sunset.
