MAISON&OBJET 2022: THE GEN Z CAFÉ

One of the cafés at the Maison & Object March 2022 show was designed by new studio, Uchronia, founded by young architect Julien Sebban. His small multidisciplinary team create “experiences” that cover artistic direction and graphics to furnishings, vibes and concepts, developing fabrics, tableware and staff uniforms.

The playful pop-up drew inspiration from Parisian cafés and used recycled materials, with all products auctioned off after the dismantling to raise money for charity Association Raphael.

The Gen Z-inspired space combined tones of orange and purple, including the Clementine and Boysenberry shades featured in our A/W 23/24 colour reports.
