OSCARS 2022: MONOCHROME

Head-to-toe black dominated the red carpet for the 2022 Oscars, as well as the Vanity Fair afterparty, with texture being key, created through ruffles and embellishment – as seen on Timothée Chalamet in womens Louis Vuitton and Billie Eilish in Gucci. All white dresses looked sleek and modern, with some stars combining both shades in a nod to classic tailoring.
