S/S 22 CATWALKS: JACQUEMUS

The latest Jacquemus S/S 22 runway show took place in Hawaii, with models walking down a cobalt catwalk on the Moli’i Gardens’s beach on the northern side of Oahu. With the help of stylist Ben Perreira, a native Hawaiian, Jacquemus worked to create a show that honoured the local community, with only guests from the Pacific region and mainland United States being invited and every model being local to the region.

The designer stated; “I think the Jacquemus woman… is a sunny person. That’s what the brand is about: sharing, sun, love, and family.”

This was reflected in the colour palette of clashing blues, greens, turqs, egg yolk orange and shocking pink, combined with sandy neutral tones. Many of the colours seen throughout the collection were forecasted in our S/S 22 Colour report.
